Lyla L. Smith

Lyla has been in the Accounting industry for over 12 years now with a private accounting firm. She started as a receptionist and worked her way up to being a Sr Accounting Clerk. She is a hard worker and prides herself on being efficient and a quick learner. Lyla truly enjoys her work and feels satisfaction in helping people with their bookkeeping and taxation needs. Lyla learned all she knows from 2 people whom are Certified Accountants and have been in the industry for over 40 years. A lot of the things she knows and does cannot be taught in a classroom but only learned from experience and working in the environment of the Accounting world

In 2011 Lyla obtained her Certified Professional Bookkeepers status with the Institute of Professional Bookkeepers of Canada and is still in good standing.

Outside of work Lyla is a happily married woman to a wonderful man who works long hours at a very demanding job. She is also a very involved mom with her 2 teenage children in all the various activities they do and enjoy.
